The Ranks
The Alphas
These wolves are the leaders of their respective pack. They are highly trusted by the Pack Founder. There are up to two Alphas per pack. This rank must be earned.
The Second-in-Command
This wolf is the most trusted wolf by the Alphas of their respective pack, and when the Alphas are unable to lead the Second-in-Command takes over. There is one Second-in-Command per pack. This rank must be earned.
Hunters
These wolves are in charge of finding food for the pack. They lead the hunts and work with the other members to locate and take down prey. They vary in shapes and sizes, but all know how to use their strengths to their advantage to take down prey. This is an open rank.
Warriors
These wolves are the fighters of the pack. They are dedicated to the protection of the pack and would give their life for the good of the pack. They are in charge of guarding the territory and fighting any threats to the pack. This is an open rank.
Scouts
These wolves are in charge of patrolling the territory to search for prey, strangers, or any other threats to the pack. They scout ahead of any mission, from a typical hunt to a full-out battle, so they can notify the pack of the location of prey or threats. They are silent and quick on their feet, so they can find what they’re looking for and report back quickly to the pack. This is an open rank.
Healers
These wolves are the medics of the pack. They know which herbs are good for healing which ailment, and they know which plants to stay away from. They can recognize a specific illness on the spot and figure out how to treat it. They put the lives of an injured or ill wolf above all else and will do anything they can to get the hurt wolf out of danger and back to safety. This is an open rank.
Mothers
These are those wolves with young ones to look after. They are given time off from their normal rank to care for their pups. They may return to their normal rank once their pups are a full year old. This is an open rank.
Yearlings
These wolves are no longer pups, but not quite adults, either. They are in training to become fully ranked members of the pack. This is an open rank.
Pups
These are the youngest wolves of the pack. They are the future of the pack and must be cared for properly, by all members of the pack. They tend to be rather mischievous, though, so keep an eye on them! This is an open rank.
Omegas
These wolves have no true rank and perform odd jobs for the higher members. They are still very important members of the pack, as they can keep their heads when times get rough, so they act as peacekeepers of sorts. Because of this they are very good at babysitting the pups. This is an open rank.
Elders
These are the older members of the pack who have retired from their normal rank. They are very important members of the pack, because they have lived a long time and are very wise. They have plenty of stories to tell the younger members of the pack. This is an open rank.
The Members
The Wolves of the Krinex Mountains
This was the original pack of the West Lands, and once was one of the greatest packs known. However, they were shattered by the death of their great Alpha. They are still very disorganized, but a new leader has risen and is helping pull them back together. Their only goal is to retake the Aver Valley and bring the Wolves of the Krinex Mountains back to its former glory.

The Wolves of the Aver Valley
There used to be a grand pack living in the Aver Valley, but all but one of the members left after the Wolves of the Krinex Mountains attacked. The remaining member has decided to rebuild the pack, though.

The Wolves of the Sunrise Forests
The members of this pack used to be members of the Wolves of the Aver Valley, but they were forced out of the Aver Valley by the Wolves of the Krinex Mountains. They made a new home in the Sunrise Forests, and are starting to rebuild the pack there.
