The Fourtrees

Rainstar's nodded her agreement with Graystar. "That is what I meant. You would be restricted to hunting as freely as the clans." She watched these wolves so tired and out of their territory. She felt sympathy for them. If needed she would immediatley allow them to remain in the territory a while.

The leaders ears perked and turned toward the shadowy figure before she saw it. Her wet black nose twitching with the new scent, strong despite there only being one wolf. The females blue gaze watched the wolf as her lip curled into a silent growl. Her black fur stood on end, her paws shuffling. She stood as if ready to chase after it but stopped. She watched as it disappeard, her tail flicking.

Rayen nodded to Rainstar, she had helped wit htheir case but her idea that driving them out would be impossible was simply liticress. She struggled with her inner self, as her old life and teaching began to attempt to take over. As she did so some of that personality slipped through the deadlier darker side she tried to over come. "Even a mountain though strong and mighty call fall to the winds and ice with a crashing roar, nothing in this life is impossible. the only sure thing you can relly on is death." her words were blunt and matter of fact, she was greatful that Rainstar saw sense and was willing enough to let them pass. if she couldn't or wouldn't accept the words she just spoke then perhaps she was judging her too soon.

She on the other hand did not see any reason to mention liberties, even a pup could understand a strange wolf entering another land was not given the right to hunt or experience the pleasantries of the territory they were upon. She could feel Akindo prickle next to her at the comments. flicking her tail so it lightly brushed her comrade Rayen warned her to keep control of her tongue and emotions- not that she doubted Akindo, but it never hurt to be safe.

Suddenly the scent of another hit her nose causing her fur to spike and lips to curl back in a silent snarl, a reaction to the memory of that scent clinging to the coats of the wolves who had chased them here. Her eyes the color and intensity of lava scanned the surroundings locating the wolf as it fled. Every fiber of her being wanted to chase down that wolf and make it and its pack pay for what they did to her family, but common sense won out over such emotions and with some effort she pushed them down becoming her usual emotionless slab of meat. her ears twitching as graystar and Akindo exchanged word. "Well, now that is out of the way let us return to the subject at hand. two leaders see no problem in allowing us to pass," her eyes turned to Shadestar, "And what do you have to say Shadestar? You smell of marsh and damp, not that of open plains and sagebrush, the land we wish to cross through is not your own. " She paused a second to let her words sink in, "but none the less i would rather have your concent before i lead my family onward...." her ears suddenly went errect as if she had suddenly thought of somethng, even though she had had the idea the instant she laid eyes on the clans, "This pack is large, far larger then even your packs, clans put together. Like i said before a mountain though strong is also impervious to distruction, and if a thing made of harden stone and earth can fall why can't small wolves made of bone and flesh? that scout came far to close to the center of your land, tehy have to respect or fear of you and see to reason why they can't tresspass on your land as if it simply a plot of neutral ground. "


her eyes studied each wolf, ready to react if any lashed out, "That spy was close and other would not be far behind, so fellow leaders what do you intend to do to protect your packs, your families."

She thought about it. It was true, that she knew. But to admit it was hard. Simply the leader shrugged.

She continued listening, her fur was still bristled at that wolf who had dared come so far. She chuckled to herself, "Let them try." She thought to herself as the DSP leader spoke. More wolves than the clans? And then the leaders question: "...so fellow leaders what do you intend to do to protect your packs, your families?"

Rainstar thought about it. She shivered slightly. The black fae looked at the leader, her eyes a bright light. She spoke as quietly as the wind blwoing in the trees. "I would do whatever it takes to protect my family. I would go as far as helping anyone in need. I would do what I think is best for them. Nothing less." Her eyes lit up with a new light. The light of protection and anger. There was no way the young leader would ever let anyone harm her clan as long as she still had her nine lives.

"If two of the leaders have agreed then can't we avoid Shadestar's territory completely and pass through the other clan's territory? Or is Shadestar's territory somehow in the way?" Akindo growled low under her breath in the Ruby's direction, feeling a bit uptight after having allowed the imposter to escape but there was nothing to do now but get out of here as fast as possible.

"I think I see the spy enter our territory, it may just be a vole though."she said as she stood up and tried to look for the scent.

Heatherpaw's fur bristled and her teeth became bared in a silent snarl as a new and utterly vile scent was carried to her by the wind. It was not the scent of the new pack, that was certain, but perhaps it was one of those mangy crow-food eaters that had been bothering the clans recently?
"I think I see the spy enter our territory, it may just be a vole though." As Snowflower spoke the words, her eyes turned to slits and her tail began to lash. How dare they trespass this far into their territory!?
Her first instincts would have been to pursue the spy, but she had more sense that that. She inhaled deeply and shut her eyes for a moment, allowing her fur to lie flat again and her surge of anger to flow away. She opened her eyes once more and let her gaze flicker up to Tallrock. Where is Russetstar? Surely this affects al of the clans? With a small shrug, she turned her attention back to Snowflower who had begun sniffing about.

Rayen listened to Rainstar's word, nodding when she finished."Then we share the same goals," She answered simply before tilting her head to listen to Akindo, "my thoughts exactly, although i thought it good manners to ask his opinion." her eyes turned backto him as if waiting for an answer.

"So, may I ask which wolf leads the pack that resides in the grassland?" She continued," Their territory is the one I wish to lead my pack through, and the longer we remain here the more danger we are in of becoming caught up in the battle between your packs and this far larger one....Unless you desire some assistance, then I'd happily share an idea of mine if not we wil be on our way." She was sick of remaining here while the enemy drew closer and these wolves seeemd to porud and confident in their abilities she could picture them failing because they underestimated their opponent. but none of this was her concern, they were not her pack. The only reason she even bothered toremain was that they were near the mountains and the enemy was obviously trying to lcaim their land, with the pass blocked their terriory was temporarily safe. But once these clns fall there would be only the mountain and the wolves who dwelled there in their way.These wolves surved as a barrier for her pack, gaurding this side from invasion.

Rainstar looked back at Windclan territory. "Russetstar, Russetstar is leader of Windclan and his clan resides on the moors. Unfortunatley he is not here." Rainstar looked at them worriedly. Now hw would they pass? It wasn't that she minded them, but she would like to see a happy ending. She sat down her eyes glittering in the moonlight, she sighed and looked at Shadestar and Graystar. Her gaze shifted carefully to the DSP. Her sigh came again.

"mhmm." she said and kept sniffing around. "Where is he anyway?" she said and sat down to rest a bit before heading towards the scent again.

Akindo narrowed her eyes. "A lot of organization you have here." She observed mildly. "I thought someone said it was a gathering and yet your leader isn't here?" Akindo's eyes rolled back towards the trees, her fur on edge and her nostrils clogged with the intruder's scent. IT was driving her mad and these wolves' stupidity was driving her mad. And her death drawing nearer and nearer was driving her mad. This pack of wolves couldn't take on the enemy! Look how unorganized they were! Look how stubborn they were! Instead she turned back towards the WindClan wolves, her eyes churning into slits as she shook to hold her temper. "I'd go fetch your leader myself but I need his approval to enter your territory." She gruffed. "Maybe someone should go fetch him."

(Russetstar has not signed up to join the site. Should we ask her to? Or would it be possible to even allow one of you leaders to rp him if she cannot join for whatever reason?)

Heatherpaw shuffled her paws. She was eager to know what was being said and why making a decision was taking so long, but she also felt an air of unease, not only because of the strange pack, but because of the lone spy that had arrogantly made it's way into the territory. Would there be anymore of them?

"I am sorry, but our leader isn't available right now." she walked up to the wolf. "And I don't think he will be here soon." she looked at the wolf with her caramel eyes.

Shadestar growled at the wolf beside this Rayen stranger. "We are not of your concern, keep your opinions to yourself, I don't want to hear them." He said hotly at the wolf's "observations" and arrogance. Then he fell silent, pondering the situation. He knew in the Clans history they had fought Clans or packs of wolves much larger than they, and came out on top. They needed no outsider help. "That is WindClan territory. Pass through. Do not hunt or we will know." he consented, narrowing his eyes. "Leave as soon as possible, hopefully we will never see each other again." Shadestar's golden eyes fell on the arrogant wolf in particular. "If you are not capable we can send some of our wolves with you. Actually, that might be a good idea to make sure you don't steal anything of ours." He turned towards the other wolves. "WindClan Apprentice and WindClan warrior there, you can go. (Heatherpaw and Snowflower). Just show them the way, nothing more."

Shadestar turned back towards the others as he said this.

"Sure, come on Heatherpaw." she said and started padding away. "Come on...um.... strangers." she giggled and waited for them to catch up.

Rainstar listened, her ears perked high. Her black fur stood on endas April spoke, yet she would not comment for argumanets sake. The female was surprised as Shadestar spoke, in fact she felt a little like giggling but she had enough control to remain silent and relaxed. The fae nodded approval as Shadestar spoke some more, "That is WindClan territory. Pass through. Do not hunt or we will know. Leave as soon as possible, hopefully we will never see each other again. If you are not capable we can send some of our wolves with you. Actually, that might be a good idea to make sure you don't steal anything of ours. WindClan Apprentice and WindClan warrior there, you can go. " Rainstar thought it was a good idea so she remained silent, she had spoken her opinion and there was no more need for it, yet.

Heatherpaw snapped out of her daydreaming at the sound of someone mentioning her Clan. When Shadestar gestured for her and Snowflower to escort the wolves of DSP across their territory, the apprentice watched as Snowflower made her way forward before she herself trotted cautiously up the hill to where the Clan Leaders and the Dancing Stones Pack had temporarily situated themselves. When she reached the crest of the hill and padded up to stand beside the Leaders, she nodded her head briefly as a sign of respect and understanding of their task, before turning to face the Alpha (Or who she would have called 'Leader') of the other pack. She lowered her head in a nod one again, though this time, not only as a sign of respect, but as a sign that they could begin to set off towards WindClan territory. She had decided that it would be best for her stay towards the rear of the group, incase one of them attempted to give them the slip, and so that Snowlfower could lead the way without having to worry too much. She highly doubted that one of them would try such a thing, though Heatherpaw thought it best not to take that risk, and just think of it as being cautious. Her ears were perked forward with intense interest and curiosity as she waited for the pack to begin moving, and for what the Alpha might say or how she would react in the situation, but she was mostly inquisitive to know what life in their pack was like. Were these wolves part of a Clan? Are these wolves warriors? How far have they come? Do they even belive in StarClan? At the last thought she felt her heart jump. Do they have their own warrior ancestors? All these questions swirled inside her mind as she waited patiently for their Leader to say something or begin moving towards her territory.

SnowFlower waited patiently for the wolves to catch up with her. As they did, she saw Heatherpaw at the back of them, she took her by the scruff of her neck and placed her in front, "Why don't you lead, I'll keep an eye on them." she smiled and switched places with Heatherpaw.

Although Akindo disliked the pack's need to babysit her, she followed without a sound greatful at least that they were finally moving away from the creatures that had stalked them all the way here. In the end she really didn't care what happened to this pack with the stranger wolves, if they were too arrogant to realize that danger was around every corner it surely wasn't her problem. Though at the same time she realized that the leaders carried the responsibility of all their pack mates on their shoulders. Which mean if Shadestar wasn't worried about stranger wolves then his entire Clan might suffer for that. Akindo's fur bristled a little at the thought of risking so much, pups and families and pack mates. It was always best to play it safe, but Shadestar's agression and pride was getting in the way of the truth. The Dancing Stones Pack was far from the pack they needed to be worrying about. But she decided, there was nothing she could do about it. Maybe in time the Clans would come to discover that the Dancing Stones had been right. For now she followed silently, ignoring the "babysitters" that surrounded her and made her feel inferior.

Dawnpaw padded up to the Clan Leaders "Hi Rainstar,Shadestar, Graystar." She dipped her head in respect to the leaders. "Hi Snowflower. And you are...?" said Dawnpaw as she turned her violet eyes on the strangers. They did not smell like Windclan,Thunderclan,Shadowclan nor Riverclan. She wondered who were they and how did they dare trespass on Clan territory.

"Hello Dawnpup, these are just some wolves passing through and me and Heatherpaw are escorting them out."she said softly and turned to keep walking.

(Basically DSp got both trapped outside and chased off their territory. So they came to fourtrees during a gathering. They talked to the clan leaders for passage through Windclan territory when they saw a spy. and now theyre leaving after Shadestar let them pass. Thats it.)

Rainstar watched the DSP wolves get ready to leave. She looked at them probably tired and hungry. She opened her muzzle to ask if they would at least spend the night, at fourtrees, but she remained silent. Rainstar knew she would appreiate at least rest before a long journey. She shrugged and looked back at where the spy had disappeared to.

(Rainstar has covered it. ^^ We need to speed this along so I'm going to introduce the enemy pack so we can start having wolves sent out to include other packs.)

Rayen nodded to show her acceptence and appreciation, even though it did rub her the wrong way when Shadestar ordered an escort. He was far to thick headed and proud to listen to her words and so she did not attempt to sway him in any direction. She watched as Sunflower and the younger wolf who had been watching them earlier approached, her eye brow arching as she watched the younger one known as hazelpaw circle around to follow from behind. Although young she was quite smart, something she silently commended her for even though it was unnesseccary and rather insulting that she'd believe they'd attempt anything.

She returned the nod given to her and getured for Snowflower to lead the way, silently following behind although her senses were on high alert. She noted as she passed Rainstar a look of hesitation as if she were about to say something and she gave a small cock of the head as if questioning her on the matter. But she did not stop to wait, if she wanted to speak she trusted she would, the sound of her voice alone would be enough to bring the Windclan wolves to a stop if neccesary.

As they passed the place known to the clans as Fourtrees Rayen's nose picke up a starling smell one that caused her to skid to a halt head anad tail raised high teeth bared in a snarl. The scent of the pack that had stolen their kill and driven them into this land had returned and was growing stronger the closer they went toward Windclan territory. She signaled for the others to stop her eyes like furious erupting volcanoes scanned the shadows of the moor....There! She watched as several shadows detatched themselves to slink across the ground, some coming toward them while two others broke off heading deeper into the moor.

Realizing they had been spotted the other wolves diregarded stealth as they spun on their heels to chase after their companions. "it looks like our enemy has beaten us to the moors," She snarled," No doubt there will be more where they came from. " Spinning around she looked the other leader in the eye, "I hope your wolves are prepared to fight because it looks like your enemy is no longer willing to allow you to remain within this land."

SnowFlower growled as she saw a shadow run by her, "Show yourself!"she snarled and remained alerted and cautious, one wrong move and its over. "Heatherpaw get ready, Dawnpup, get to safety quickly! I hope you guys are ready too."she looked around, every time, something moved at the corner of her eye.

Dawnpuo looked.around to see shady figures slink out and walked around the moor."Dawn pup, get to safety, quick!"she heard SnowFlower say and ran to the clan leaders right away, "Help! There are enemies at the moor! The pack earlier, SnowFlower and Heatherpaw are there now!"she said, eyes filled with worry.
